About this course

The course is an introduction to industry-standard software related to the creation and implementation of computer-generated illustrations. Emphasis is placed on verbal visual relationships and the integration of type and image in contemporary illustration. Topics will include illustration software options, concept and problem-solving, style and personal expression, branding illustration, charts/diagrams/graphs, and storytelling illustration. The primary software program presented is Adobe Illustrator.
