About this course

This course presents the principles and methods of critical inquiry, advocacy, and debate. Students will develop research skills, critically evaluate evidence, identify fallacies in reasoning and language, advance reasoned positions with consideration to ethical practices and cultural sensitivity, and use critical thinking to defend and refute arguments through analysis, presentation, and evaluation of oral and written communication arguments.
