About this course
This introductory course provides a foundation in the principles and practices of industrial automation and smart manufacturing. Students will learn essential concepts in electrical systems, industrial safety, Industry 4.0, trade-related mathematics, precision measuring instruments, circuit drawings, and basic mechatronics. Topics will include direct and alternating current electricity, industrial wiring skills, and fundamentals of (PLC) Programmable Logic Controllers.
