About this course
This course introduces the discipline of Kinesiology through the study of yoga. It includes a historical examination, key philosophical concepts, and the evolution of yoga throughout the ages. Students will practice simple yoga poses for the mind and body. Other areas, such as mindfulness, breath awareness, and relaxation techniques, will also be covered. This course will also include concepts of exercise physiology and basic nutrition.
