About this course

This course is an introduction to the discipline of Kinesiology through online fitness. It is an intermediate-level online fitness course that will utilize technology to verify performance via self-reported cardiovascular exercise, assignments, testing, and discussion. Students will learn to improve their fitness through cardiovascular exercise. Basic exercise physiology, nutritional concepts, and various components of fitness will be discussed. Students are required to have an instructor-approved tracking application installed on a GPS-enabled device or a fitness tracking device.
