About this course

This course is intended to improve comprehension of reading materials in a specific content-area course through the application of post-secondary reading strategies and critical analysis of reading materials. This course includes engagement in the development of reading comprehension using a diverse selection of literary genres from various cultural perspectives across the disciplines. It is an in-depth study of the reading discipline to promote analysis, problem-solving, reflective judgment, and interpretation skills, all of which foster intellectual growth.
