About this course
This course introduces beginning artists to the core concepts and techniques of painting outdoor landscapes and nature subjects in the open air on location. Students will complete small-scale one-sitting landscape paintings from observation. Lectures will consist of the art of plein air, plein air societies and communities, and plein air painting demonstrations.
