An introduction to the fundamental principles, tools, and techniques of theatrical design, applicable to scenery, lighting, sound, costumes, makeup, and more. Students will practice analyzing scripts, researching design inspiration, collaborating with colleagues, and exploring and iterating design ideas, using both digital and physical media.
