Admission reality
Major-level transfer admission data is published for University of California campuses. San Diego State is outside that dataset, and Cherrypicker does not substitute figures from anywhere else.
Cherrypicker does not estimate anyone’s chance of admission, and never will. Historical outcomes are context, not a prediction.
Planning reality

Agreement year 2025-26, captured from ASSIST. Verify against the official agreement and confirm with a counselor before making transfer decisions.
The other FHDA college
De Anza College has its own ASSIST agreement for this major. It is a separate agreement with its own courses and its own source — not an extension of the Foothill College one, and the two are never combined on this page.
Whether a course taken at one college satisfies the other college’s requirements is a separate question from articulation. Confirm with a counselor before relying on it.

Common questions
Which Foothill College classes count toward San Diego State Art - Emphasis in Multimedia?
ASSIST's 2025-26 agreement maps 3 San Diego State requirements to Foothill College coursework. The full list, including every alternative, is in the major preparation section above.
Does this page guarantee my courses will transfer?
No. It shows what the published ASSIST agreement between Foothill College and San Diego State University says for 2025-26. Agreements change by catalog year, and your own record can differ. Confirm with a counselor and with the official agreement before you rely on it.
Can I take these courses at De Anza instead?
Sometimes — but it is a separate question with a separate answer. The other college has its own ASSIST agreement for this major, with its own courses and its own source, linked in the section above. Cherrypicker never merges the two.
How current is the class availability on this page?
Section and seat information reflects the district's published Winter 2027 class data, refreshed roughly every 15 minutes, and the page carries the exact time it was last updated. Always confirm in the official registration system before enrolling.
Why do some San Diego State requirements show no Foothill course?
ASSIST lists no articulated Foothill College course for 11 requirements in this major. That usually means the requirement is completed after transfer. It is shown rather than hidden so the picture is complete.
Spot something wrong?
Articulation, prerequisites, course details and class availability all come from sources that change. If something here does not match the official record, tell us and we will fix it — corrections from students and staff are the fastest way this stays accurate.
